Project with 18 young people to mace a big decor.
The company Qualifit was assigned eighteen young people by the municipality of Goes and the counselors of the Bureau Obligatory Education to arouse enthusiasm for working and learning amongst these school-leavers, who had been without work for months and often carried along additional problems of a familiar or personal nature. A very special project, involving several disciplines including painting.
In cooperation with these young people, Verkerke spent three months working on a decor. All disciplines were shown together in a music video created by the same group of young people. Inspiring the young and performing a trade is an important cause for Verkerke, to stimulate young people and transfer the enthusiasm for a trade.
Because of the length of the route and the work on a beautiful end result, the group became ever more creative. Each week the motivation to work grew. Because of that, the end result was particularly beautiful, and the project an outstanding success.
